I will get around to blogging about our trip to Indiana to see family, but for tonight here’s some fun to tide you over. This is just after we arrived home; we’d gotten the clothes from our suitcases into a laundry hamper but the hamper hadn’t yet made it out to the washer and dryer in the garage. I was out (getting my hair cut, as a matter of fact), and Dan was watching Raley. She started moving the laundry… and kept doing it. He grabbed the camera to take some videos and captured what I think this is one of the most adorable things I’ve ever seen. Enjoy!

My favorite part is how she slaps her hands together after she dumps the close in. Okay! Done that! NEXT!
It’s nice she’s so quiet and methodical about it. Meli loves to “help” with the laundry too, although she’s got a running commentary to go along with it. I can’t help but think she’s saying “OH MY GOD THESE PEOPLE ARE SLOBS!”
When Raley tackles stain stick, send her my way!
And that’s clothes, not close. My brain in now in the permanent OFF position.
I love how she methodically studies a few of the pieces… and the rest she simply moves! I also love the looks she gives the camera… the first two are definitely “Dad, this is serious business” looks and then there is one adorable smile… but still business!
positively delightful. Love her hands, her expressions. She is an organizer!!
I love how “industrious” she is! Like Jenna said, how “serious” she seems about it.
Love those videos!!!
Oh thank you. What fun.
But you do realize that all of those garments had been washed just before you got them here, don’t you??????
Ditto what Cara said. My favorite part was the clap of completion each time. That and the sly grin in one of the later clips.
LOL… yes, I definitely want to know what all the claps mean in Raley’s world. Too cute!
Such cuteness! I like how she rubs/claps her hands after like saying “Okay, next!” or “Three claps for me for doing a swell job!”. You’re teaching her well! Claps go to you =)
Time for MORE videos…or at least more blog, just so we know what is happening in your life.
